PARAGLIDING  IN TURKEY

The Exciting sport of paragliding is the thrill of flying over beautiful coastal scenery.  We launch from the hill behind Kas (Altitute 1000m). The desent takes around 30 minutes. Your flight will give you a bird's eye view of the old town of Kas and its harbour, the peninsula and, of course, of the Greek island of Castellorize (Megisti). Tandem paragliding leaves you free to enjoy the experience and leaves the technicalities of flying in the hands of a friendly and professional pilot. The canopy resembles a parachute but acts like a rigit wing. Once inflated overhead, it takes only a few steps or a short launch from a gentle slope and become airborne. In the air, complete control over direction and speed gives the pilot freedom to soar ridges, rise on warm currents of air and cover distances. The vehicle transfer to the launch site takes about 30 minutes.
